Terms of use for the Fairlane Ventures platform and services.
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the use of all services and platforms provided by Fairlane Ventures GmbH, Baarerstrasse 107, 6300 Zug, Switzerland (hereinafter "Fairlane"). By using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
Fairlane provides a Legal Case Management System with AI-powered analysis, document management, team collaboration, and related professional services. The scope of services depends on the selected plan and contractual agreements.
3. Platform Features
The platform includes, but is not limited to:
- Legal case management with multi-role support
- AI-powered legal analysis across DACH and UK jurisdictions
- Secure document management with encryption and versioning
- Real-time team collaboration and messaging
- Time tracking and billing tools
4. User Obligations
Users are obligated to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep login credentials confidential and secure
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes
- Report any security vulnerabilities or unauthorized access immediately
5. Intellectual Property
All content, software, designs, and materials on the Fairlane platform are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written consent from Fairlane.
6. AI Disclaimer
The AI-powered legal analysis provided by Fairlane is for informational and supportive purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified legal professional.
7. Liability
Fairlane shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for the services in the preceding 12 months.
8. Data Protection
Fairlane processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Contract Duration and Termination
The contract is concluded for an indefinite period unless otherwise agreed. Either party may terminate the contract with 30 days written notice. Fairlane reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Modifications
Fairlane reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
11. Severability
If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland.
